Dr. Bhattachan’s professional experience spans a decade both in preventive as well as curative health services in Nepal. He has wide experience in surveillance and mass vaccination in hard to reach areas of Nepal. His research interests are in epidemiology of enteric diseases and its vaccine development. He earned his bachelor degree in Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) from BPK Institute of Health Sciences (BPKIHS), a center for excellence in South Asian countries including Nepal, while his master’s degree in public health (MPH) from Mahidol University, Bangkok, Thailand.
